The fear is usually that something will be irrevocably wrong. Bottom line fear is often that you will never become pregnant and that’s really the last thing that you want to find out. In fact, I waited about nine months longer than recommended to see a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist for just that reason.
I was afraid to find out that I was out of luck and nothing could be done. And I was more content to live for nine months in fear than moving forward. I’m not judging it – I’m sharing that’s what I did.
The reality is that rarely do you hear that nothing can be done. The reality is that most likely, most often, you will find things that can either be repaired or bypassed so that you can have a successful pregnancy and the baby you have been wanting.
The reality is that there is hope and that fear can be diminished with more information.
